Over ten years as a General Contractor-CM and Nineteen years of experience in the Architectural field and Interior design. Fernando has developed a wide range of projects encompassing new construction, additions and renovations. His knowledge covers a broad extent of building types including commercial, residential, corporate offices, hotels, schools and correctional facilities.

Professional Experience:

General Contractor, Construction Manager 1999 to present

Plan, direct, and coordinate a wide variety of construction projects, including the building of all types of residential, commercial, industrial structures, schools and hospitality. Fernando oversees an entire project. He schedule and coordinate all design and construction processes, including the selection, hiring, and oversight of specialty trade contractors. Also oversee construction supervisors and workers. Coordinate and supervise the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, making sure that the project gets done on time and within budget.

 

Work with owners, developers, engineers, architects, and others who are involved in the construction process. Fernando experience covers many segments: site preparation, including land clearing and earth moving; sewage systems; landscaping and road construction; building construction, including excavation and laying of foundations and erection of the structural framework, floors, walls, and roofs; and building systems, including fire-protection, electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and heating. Oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment; worker productivity and safety; and the quality of construction.

 

Responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses, direct or monitor compliance with building and safety codes, other regulations, and requirements set by the project’s insurers.
